Meet the Staff

Meet our team at Jacksonville Kids Pediatrics! Please take a few moments to learn about our skilled practitioner and our friendly, nurturing staff.

At Jacksonville Kids Pediatrics, we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We are honored that you have chosen us as your child's primary medical provider and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care and service that we can provide you and your family.

A vital part of our service to children begins with our outstanding staff who works hard to manage and maintain a professional, caring and supportive environment for our patients in a timely manner. Our doctor is a lifelong learner. Not only has she received advanced medical training in pediatrics, she continually pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child health care.

Your child's health is as important to us as it is to you. We look forward to providing you with excellent medical care your child deserves.

Sara Dahbour
A.P.R.N
Pediatrician in Jacksonville, FL

Sara is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience in pediatric primary care. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Florida in 2014, graduating with honors. She attended Florida State University in Tallahassee for her undergraduate studies and her BSN.

After graduating from nursing school in 2009, Sara moved to Jacksonville to begin her career in the Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant unit of Wolfson Children’s Hospital. It was there she learned the skills necessary for taking care of children with compassion and adapted a family-centered approach to treatment.

One of Sara’s favorite parts of working in primary care is being able to watch children grow and develop from infancy and witness each new milestone they attain along the way. She takes a calm and reassuring approach when meeting your child, and understands that treating a symptom or illness does not always include medication. Sometimes a hug or giving encouragement can go a long way!

Sara lives in Jacksonville Beach with her husband, Shawn. In her free time she enjoys travelling, working out, reading, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
